Medical Oncology Fellow – Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC)

Fixed Term Full Time | 86 hours per fortnight

Sante Recruitment, with over 20 years of experience in medical recruitment, is proud to present an outstanding opportunity for a **Medical Oncology Fellow** to join the **Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC)** at **Grampians Health**.

This fellowship provides **comprehensive clinical and research training** under the supervision of a highly experienced team of **five full-time and five visiting oncologists**, offering a rich and diverse training environment in regional Victoria.



✅ About the Role

* Participate in **oncology clinics 4 days/week**, including **outreach clinics** to Horsham or Stawell (fortnightly).
* Engage in a wide range of **multidisciplinary meetings**: breast, upper GI, colorectal, urological, thoracic, neuro-oncology, gynaecological, skin cancer, head & neck.
* Attend **consultant ward rounds 2–3 times/week**.
* Contribute to **after-hours on-call and weekend ward round rosters**.
* Undertake **independent research** with mentorship, and play a key role in the **busy clinical trials unit** (including early-phase trials).
* Participate in **teaching**, including medical students from the **University of Melbourne** and **Deakin University**, as well as junior doctors.
* Attend academic forums including **Journal Club, MM meetings, and the Victorian Medical Oncology Training Group education series**.

Skills & Experience

* Postgraduate qualifications and experience in **Medical Oncology**.
* Advanced training in oncology (partly or fully completed).
* Eligible for **specialist registration with AHPRA**.
* Demonstrated commitment to oncology **patient care and research**.
* Excellent **communication skills** and ability to work within a **multidisciplinary team**.
