About the Role The Registrar ICU/ER provides advanced clinical care to critically ill and emergency patients across PIH's Intensive Care Units, Emergency Department, and satellite facilities. Key Responsibilities Include: Providing high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures; Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans; Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes; Developing and maintaining strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals; Staying current with advances in medical knowledge and technology. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Medicine or equivalent; Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Papua New Guinea Medical Council; Minimum 2 years of experience working in an Intensive Care Unit or Emergency Department; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
