Your Role

As our Mental Health Triage Nurse, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking support. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will:

• Conduct mental health assessments, triage, and risk evaluations
• Support patients across psychosis, mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, personality disorders, and more
• Facilitate referrals to internal and external services
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RPNs, OTs, and psychologists
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and work within relevant legislation and standards

What We're Looking For:

• AHPRA nursing registration
• At least 5 years experience in mental health nursing
• Strong understanding of mental health best practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Work Authorisation in Australia
• Postgraduate qualifications in Mental Health
