Registered Technologist - X-Ray

Job Description As a X-Ray Technologist in the Diagnostic Imaging Department you will be responsible for providing high quality patient care, quality scans/images. As a X-Ray Technologist you must possess and use knowledge to obtain technically diagnostic studies in accordance with the protocols. Accountabilities: Ability to provide high quality patient care and quality imaging studies to the physician which will aid in diagnosis and treatment management of the patient. Use independent judgment to ensure that all images are of high quality, accurate and complete. Ensure that all patients receive excellent care and service. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, nurses, radiologists and other healthcare professionals. Participate in quality control activities to ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the principles of patient confidentiality. Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Use knowledge to obtain technically diagnostic studies in accordance with the protocols.
