Registered Psychologist | Ongoing Therapy Role | Strathmore

Job description

A private practice in the heart of Strathmore are looking for a Psychologist to work with them for a minimum of 2 days per week on a contractor basis. The clinic is set in a beautiful co-working space with a team of 12 Psychologists and Neuropsychologists, and is also used by other Allied Health professionals to promote collaborative working and professional development. You will be providing therapeutic support across the lifespan to a wide range of clients with varying presentations, so this role will suit a Psychologist with an interest in diversifying their experience.

  • Referrals: Our client has a contract with the AFL, alongside receiving referrals via MHTPs, Private Clients, NDIS, Third-Party Referrals, Private GPs, TAC and WorkCover.
Your duties will include:
  • Providing ongoing therapy to a wide demographic of clientele across the lifespan.
  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with referring doctors and allied health practitioners to promote client-centred care
  • Maintain accurate case notes, manage client files, and uphold all legal and ethical standards in your practice.
About you:
  • Able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of GP MHCPs, WorkSafe, TAC and NDIS
  • Experience with Halaxy or similar clinical patient management systems would be beneficial
  • Be committed to continuous professional development and excellence, including peer supervision and other clinically relevant CPD
  • Be proficient in evidence based therapies, including but not limited to CBT, ACT, and positive psychology interventions
  • Hold a tertiary Psychology qualification
  • AHPRA Registered
  • Have a valid Working with Children and Police Check
