Registered Nurses - Perioperative | Adelaide

Job description

Exciting opportunities are now available for experienced Registered Nurses with extensive skill sets and sound knowledge of the standards of Perioperative Nursing to join the Perioperative Department at a private hospital in Adelaide.
ROLE OVERVIEW Your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
  • Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety;
  • Completing work in a timely and professional manner;
  • Working as part of a team;
  • Leading by example and being willing to be a mentor to junior staff.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Current AHPRA Registration;
  • South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance;
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Perioperative environment;
  • Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards, ACHA policies and procedures;
  • Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands;
  • Positive attitude towards leadership and potential management skills;
  • Being committed to continuous quality improvement;
  • Being committed to the provision of quality Nursing care, Education and customer service;
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills.

REMUNERATION Salaries range between $42.37 - $53.04 per hour.
FACILITY DETAILS Located in Adelaide, this private not-for-profit hospital features 230 beds and offers a comprehensive range of specialties, including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, general medicine, gynaecology and maternity care, oncology, orthopaedics, urology, and vascular surgery. The facility is equipped with 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, a fully staffed emergency department, maternity services, and a 24-bed Level 3 Critical Care Unit.
