Registered Nurses - Emergency Department | Sydney

Excellent opportunities exist for experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses with interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care to join an established nursing team at a private hospital in Sydney. Permanent full-time positions are available.
ABOUT THE ROLE As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering safe, research-based standards of nursing care;
• Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in
  Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care;
• Acting as a role model for Safe Practice;
• Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery;
• Ensuring patient and staff safety.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current AHPRA registration;
• Working with Children check;
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
• Prior Experience in an Emergency Department;
• Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
• A Post-Graduate qualification in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing would be desirable.

REMUNERATION $39.09 - $54.89 per hour.

The Operating Theatre complex has 16 theatres, 32 first-stage recovery bays, and an additional 32 second-stage chairs. The specialties include General (including laparoscopic), Colorectal, Bariatric, Orthopaedic, Cardiothoracic, ENT, Plastics, Paediatric, Oral & Dental Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Ophthalmic, Gastroenterology, Neurosurgery, Urology, and Vascular surgery.
