Job description

Outstanding chances await experienced Registered Nurses with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care to join a busy Emergency Department on a permanent part-time or full-time basis at a private hospital in Melbourne.
ABOUT THE ROLE As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care;
  • Playing a key role in working within a high-performing team;
  • Delivering education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life needs;
  • Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Current registration with AHPRA;
  • Experience in ED/Critical Care/ICU is highly desirable;
  • Triage experience preferable ;
  • 2+ years acute hospital working experience;
  • Working with Children check;
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
  • Compliance with ACSQHC National standards;
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team.

REMUNERATION $34.56 - $47.25 per hour
ABOUT THE FACILITY The hospital, located in Melbourne's northwestern suburbs, is a fully accredited 186-bed major surgical, acute medical, and emergency facility. With a 12-cubicle Emergency Department, 5 operating theatres, a 12-bed critical care complex, and a busy Day Procedure Unit, the hospital provides a wide range of services to its community. The hospital specialises in orthopaedics, general surgery, general medicine, oncology, cardiology, urology, plastic surgery, ENT and gynaecology.
