Job description

Outstanding opportunities have become available for a Registered Nurse to join the busy and dynamic Day Procedure Unit at a private hospital in Adelaide.
ROLE OVERVIEW Your responsibilities will involve:
  • Working cohesively and with initiative in a multi-disciplinary team;
  • Delivering evidence-based and quality clinical nursing care;
  • Liaising with management, key stakeholders and all staff;
  • Supporting management and embracing change and new initiatives positively;
  • Providing exceptional pre- and post-operative nursing care in accordance with national standards;
  • Working effectively in a team environment, while managing own time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Current AHPRA Registration;
  • Minimum two years' experience as a Registered Nurse;
  • Previous experience working within a peri-operative environment, and/or surgical nursing;
  • Demonstrated sound understanding of relevant standards and legislation.

REMUNERATION $38.79 -$53.04.
FACILITY DETAILS The hospital, located in Adelaide, performs a broad range of surgical, medical, diagnostic, and interventional procedures, which are supported by on-site medical imaging, radiology, and pathology. The hospital has eight operating theatres and a procedure room, which are all equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The Intensive Care Unit is a dynamic 12-bed Level 3 ICU equipped to provide total care to critically ill patients.
