Outstanding opportunities have become available for a Registered Nurse to join the busy and dynamic Day Procedure Unit at a private hospital in Adelaide.
ROLE OVERVIEW Your responsibilities will involve:
FACILITY DETAILS The hospital, located in Adelaide, performs a broad range of surgical, medical, diagnostic, and interventional procedures, which are supported by on-site medical imaging, radiology, and pathology. The hospital has eight operating theatres and a procedure room, which are all equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The Intensive Care Unit is a dynamic 12-bed Level 3 ICU equipped to provide total care to critically ill patients.

ROLE OVERVIEW Your responsibilities will involve:
- Working cohesively and with initiative in a multi-disciplinary team;
- Delivering evidence-based and quality clinical nursing care;
- Liaising with management, key stakeholders and all staff;
- Supporting management and embracing change and new initiatives positively;
- Providing exceptional pre- and post-operative nursing care in accordance with national standards;
- Working effectively in a team environment, while managing own time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Current AHPRA Registration;
- Minimum two years' experience as a Registered Nurse;
- Previous experience working within a peri-operative environment, and/or surgical nursing;
- Demonstrated sound understanding of relevant standards and legislation.
