Registered Nurses - Anaesthetic | Port Macquarie

The Perioperative Services department has exciting opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses to join the PACU Anaesthetics Team at a private hospital in Port Macquarie.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Duties and responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to:

• Providing technical and clinical support to the Anaesthetist during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anaesthesia;
• Responding to unexpected outcomes and using problem-solving skills to respond to emergencies in the Perioperative department;
• Compliance with all legislative requirements in the workplace including occupational safety and health acts and workers' compensation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current and relevant registration with APHRA;
• Minimum one (1) year in a nursing role is essential;
• Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients;
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required;
• Master of Clinical Nursing - Anaesthetic & PACU.

REMUNERATION
On offer is an hourly base salary of $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

ABOUT THE FACILITY The hospital, located in Port Macquarie, is a 72-bed acute Medical/Surgical and Rehab facility with 6 Renal Chairs and a Day Surgery complex. Comprehensive Medical/Surgical services are offered with 24-hour Medical Officer Support, including Orthopaedics, Urology, General Surgery, ENT, Bariatric and Vascular, Plastic & Ophthalmology.
