Registered Nurse - Ward - Somerset West

We are searching for a Registered Nurse who will render and promote cost effective, safe quality patient care in accordance with hospital or doctor's practice standards and policies. The team member will further be responsible for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient needs. The Registered Nurse is a role model in the delivery of evidence-based care. The Registered Nurse will actively participate in Clinical Governance. The team member will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, and for participating in quality improvement initiatives. The Registered Nurse will also be expected to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, and to maintain confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles of patient-centered care, and will be able to demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. The Registered Nurse will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and to be available to work on short notice.
