Hours: Monday to Friday only - no weekend work!
Shifts: Rostered between 7:00am and 8:30pm
Contract: Permanent (Full-time or part-time)

Key Responsibilities

As a Theatre Nurse, you'll play a vital role in ensuring safe, high-quality surgical outcomes by:

  • Scrubbing and circulating for a range of procedures
  • Maintaining high standards in infection control and equipment handling
  • Supporting patient safety throughout the perioperative journey

Requirements

  • Current NZNC registration and APC
  • At least 1 year of perioperative nursing experience in New Zealand
  • Experience in Orthopaedics, Cardio, General Surgery, Plastics, Urology, or Gynaecology would be advantageous
  • Experience working in robotics would be an advantage
  • A positive, team-oriented approach to patient care
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • The ability to remain calm and effective in a busy surgical environment
