Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate care delivery needs of surgical patients
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care in line with hospital care values and strategic direction
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards and patient-centred care
- Demonstrate effective time management in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, patients, and families
- Work flexibly within a rotating roster structure
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and best practice implementation
- Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
- Minimum 2 years hospital-based postgraduate nursing experience
- Previous experience working in surgical specialty
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care delivery
- Exceptional customer service and time management abilities
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to work effectively both in a team and independently
- Ability to work a flexible rotating roster
- National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
- Working with Children check (may be required depending on the role)
- Base Hourly Rate: $37.75 - $53.02 + superannuation (NSW RN/Midwife Gr1-Gr8)
- Full-Time Equivalent: $72,420 - $101,705 per annum (exclusive of penalties or allowances)
- Salary based on experience level and qualifications
