Job description
A new opportunity awaits a proactive and motivated Registered Nurse to join a Surgical Ward at a private hospital in Sydney. This is a permanent, full-time role.
ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital.

ABOUT THE FACILITY The hospital is a 37-bed acute surgical and medical facility with three theatres. It specialises in Orthopaedic, Cosmetic, Plastic and Reconstructive, Ear, Nose, and Throat surgeries, and Dental surgeries. The medical ward accommodates general medical and palliative care admissions.

REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
- Minimum two (2) years in a hospital-based postgraduate role;
- Previous experience working in a surgical specialty;
- Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate the care delivery needs of patients;
- Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities;
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others;
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required;
- Ability to work a flexible rotating roster.
