Registered Nurse - Special Care Nursery

This premier Private Hospital is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses or Midwives to join its state-of-the-art Special Care Nursery (SCN). Operating as a high-functioning Level 4 service, the unit provides specialized medical and nursing support for neonates born from 32 weeks gestation, as well as ongoing care for downward transfers from tertiary facilities. The practice environment is defined by a forward-thinking, family-centered holistic approach, utilizing the latest evidence-based practices to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include: • Providing high-quality, individualized care to neonates and their families in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams; • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals; • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction; • Collaborating with the SCN team to develop and implement evidence-based clinical pathways and guidelines; • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment plans; • Participating in on-going professional development and education to stay current with best practices and advancements in neonatal care.
