Registered Nurse - Ophthalmic Scrub Scout | Newcastle

An excellent opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to work across the Scrub Scout Unit, specialising in Ophthalmology at a private hospital in North Newcastle. It's a permanent full-time role.
ABOUT THE ROLE As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
• Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
• Ensuring patient and staff safety;
• Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
• Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current registration with AHPRA;
• Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards);
• Working with Children Check;
• Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
• Excellent communication and customer service skills;
• Works well within a team;
• Basic computer skills;
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
