Exciting opportunities are available for experienced oncology-trained Registered Nurses to join a Day Therapy Unit on a part-time basis at a private hospital in Melbourne. ROLE DESCRIPTION As a Registered Nurse, your duties will encompass: Administration of chemotherapy/immunotherapy and supportive treatments; Educating patients on self-care and the effective strategies for management of side effects; Providing evidence-based nursing care, including a comprehensive assessment of patients receiving medical oncology treatment; Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans; Providing emotional support and counseling to patients and their families; Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment; Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of unit policies and procedures.
