Astra Radiology is a specialised radiology clinic operating across nine sites, including Allevia Hospital, Ascot. We provide a comprehensive range of imaging services and are proud to be part of the Integral Diagnostics (IDX) Group-one of the largest private radiology providers in Australia and New Zealand, delivering radiology and teleradiology services to both private and public healthcare facilities.

We are currently seeking a part-time or full-time Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Radiology Nursing team at Allevia Hospital.

About the Role

As a Radiology Nurse, you will deliver a high standard of nursing care to both inpatients and outpatients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures. This is a varied and rewarding role within a specialised clinical environment.

You will provide pre-, peri- and post-procedural care for patients undergoing:

• General X-ray
• CT
• MRI
• Ultrasound
• Nuclear Medicine
• Fluoroscopy

While previous radiology experience is desirable, it is not essential, as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

About You - You will have:

• Current APC and full registration to practise in New Zealand
• A strong patient-centred approach with excellent interpersonal skills
• Cannulation competency (or willingness to obtain - training provided)
• Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills
• Responsive in emergency situations
• Routine driven to ensure that procedures are supported
