Role Purpose The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care to our residents in accordance with the organisation's policies and procedures. This includes assessing resident needs, developing individualised care plans, implementing interventions, monitoring progress, and evaluating outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams. • Participate in the development and review of individualised care plans for each resident. • Implement evidence-based practices and protocols to ensure safe and effective care delivery. • Monitor and evaluate resident progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed. • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to residents. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practice guidelines. • Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying current with industry trends and developments. Requirements: • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification. • Minimum 2 years' experience in aged care or a related field. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple responsibilities. • Commitment to providing person-centred care and promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing for residents.
