Overview of the Acute Care Unit: Our unit provides care to adult and geriatric patients who require acute medical or surgical treatment. We have 24 beds and provide care for a wide range of diagnoses including cardiac, pulmonary, renal, and neurological conditions. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and achieving excellent outcomes. Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) will work in our Acute Care Unit, providing direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients who require acute medical or surgical treatment. This role requires the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, as well as collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent outcomes. Requirements: * Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina * Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution * At least 1 year of experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in an acute care unit * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time * Current BLS certification Benefits: * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Collaborative and supportive work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance
