About this Unit: * Float Pool * Varied shifts including weekends and holidays. * This position will float to various units within the facility based on the needs of the hospital. * The Float Pool RN will provide care to a diverse patient population. What you will do in this role: * You will be responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. * You will collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. * You will effectively assess, plan for, and provide care for a wide range of patient populations. * You will be accountable for the quality of nursing care provided. * You will maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for both patients and staff. Qualifications you will need: * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. * Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Kansas, or ability to obtain prior to hire. * BSN Preferred. * BLS and ACLS certifications required. * Must have at least 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting. * Must be willing and able to float to all units within the facility.
