Step into a dedicated Registered Nurse role within the Diabetes Education Unit, contributing to high‑quality, person‑centred diabetes care. Enjoy consistent working hours - Wednesday to Friday, supporting balance, continuity, and meaningful patient engagement. Deliver safe, compassionate diabetes education to support patients, carers, and families in managing their condition confidently. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, evidence‑based diabetes management across inpatient and outpatient settings. Empower outpatients and their support networks through tailored diabetes education that promotes self‑management and long‑term wellbeing. Support inpatients at Liverpool Hospital with timely, expert diabetes education that enhances recovery and continuity of care. Strengthen diabetes capability across the hospital by educating nursing and clinical staff.
Are You the Right Fit?
You bring recent nursing experience at RN Year 2 level or above, with confidence in clinical practice. You hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and uphold professional standards. You have completed an ADEA‑accredited postgraduate Diabetes Education course and are committed to ongoing development. You are credentialled or working toward credentialling as a Diabetes Nurse Educator and communicate effectively with patients, carers, and the MDT.
