Job Description As a Registered Nurse in our casual pool at our Summerset Manukau village, you will be part of a team of casuals that provides quality aged care and creates the best most enjoyable lifestyle to our care centre residents. Our residents are often here for many years, and our approach to care is resident-directed. The ultimate focus is their quality of life. Typical duties include: Managing residents’ everyday needs, from clinical to end-of-life care Creating and following long term care plans that meet individual needs Providing emotional support and companionship to residents Facilitating communication between residents, families, and healthcare professionals Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns Developing and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues. Our casual pool is designed to provide flexibility for you to work on a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
