Remarkable opportunities exist for passionate Midwives and Nurses to join a team working across the Maternity Unit, incorporating the postnatal and birth suite and Special Care Nursery at a private hospital in Melbourne. There are permanent full-time, part-time and casual opportunities available.
ABOUT THE ROLE You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care to our mothers and families, promoting patient safety and quality care at all times.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
• Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
• Ensuring patient and staff safety.

REQUIREMENTS

• Qualifications and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Midwife;
• At least one year of post-graduate acute hospital experience within a Maternity Unit or Special Care Nursery;
• A keen interest in antenatal and postnatal education;
• Dual registration as Nurse/Midwife is highly regarded;
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded.

REMUNERATION On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $36.13-$49.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
ABOUT THE FACILITY The Hospital, located in Melbourne's South-Eastern suburbs, is an acute 98-bed facility providing Medical, Surgical, and Maternity specialties and services. Specialties offered include General, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Gynaecology, and Obstetrics, with Early Parenting and Day Oncology units.
