Fantastic prospects await talented and driven Registered Midwives who are eager to become part of the vibrant Women's Health Unit at a private hospital in Western Sydney. There are openings for both full-time and part-time roles.
ROLE OVERVIEW You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care are provided to women and their families.
Your responsibilities will include:
ABOUT THE FACILITY The hospital is located in Western Sydney and provides acute Medical, Surgical, Maternity, and Critical Care services. The Women's Health Unit comprises 4 delivery suites with K2 monitoring, a 5-bed Level 2 Special Care Nursery, and a 26-bed antenatal, postnatal, and gynaecology ward. The highly skilled midwifery and obstetrics team works closely with parents to ensure the best start in life for their babies.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based midwifery care;
- Working collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team;
- Delivering a high standard of customer service;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety.
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Clinical skills and motivation to ensure excellence in patient care and customer service;
- At least 1 year of recent Midwifery experience;
- A commitment to safe practice and quality patient care;
- Understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service standards;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- The ability to work both independently and within a team structure;
- The ability to act in a professional manner at all times.
