Job description

Healthcare Australia (HCA) is seeking experienced Registered Midwives to support public and private maternity wards in Geelong. We have consistent agency shifts across the following areas:

Postnatal Wards
Antenatal Wards
Delivery Suites

We are seeking experienced Midwives with:

High clinical adaptability, confidently supporting women and families across a variety of maternity settings.
Strong critical-thinking and sound clinical judgement to ensure safe, effective care.
Excellent communication and teamwork, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary maternity teams and providing clear handovers.
Consistent reliability and professionalism, including punctuality, adherence to maternity-specific policies and protocols, and representing HCA with excellence.

Eligibility:

Current AHPRA registration as a Midwife
Bachelor of Midwifery certificate or Bachelor of Nursing certificate with a graduate diploma in Midwifery
Minimum 12 months full-time post graduate experience in a postnatal, antenatal or labour ward
EMR training/access highly desirable
Valid National Police Check
Valid Victorian Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Up-to-date vaccinations and serology
Full Australian working rights
