About the role: Join a committed team delivering comprehensive, compassionate care to individuals facing life-limiting illnesses. As a vital part of the local community, the team provides a broad range of support to palliative patients, both in their homes and at the clinic. With a strong focus on family (whānau) support, they are dedicated to ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care, comfort, and dignity during this sensitive stage of life. Benefits: 0.8 Full Time Equivalent Monday to Friday, with some flexibility to work from home. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, open communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include: Providing high-quality, person-centred care to patients in their homes and at the clinic; Building strong relationships with patients, families, and whānau; Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans; Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices. Requirements: Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN); A minimum of 2 years' experience working in palliative care or a related field; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances; Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
