Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Registered Children's Home Manager to lead and manage our children's home in Shrewsbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of care, and compliance with all regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all residents.
- Lead and supervise a team of dedicated staff, providing guidance, support, and training.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and company policies.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain effective communication with external agencies and stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the home, implementing improvements where necessary.
- Budget management and ensuring financial efficiency.

Requirements:

- Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare.
- Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.
- Proven experience in managing a children's residential setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth understanding of child protection and safeguarding practices.
