We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and team-oriented Regional Training Manager within Rompetrol Downstream. 

The position is intended for candidates from the Central and Eastern region of Romania.

Rompetrol Downstream coordinates the local fuel distribution station network. In Romania, the company operates over 450 fuel stations: Rompetrol stations, as well as Rompetrol Partner and Rompetrol Expres franchises. More than fuel distribution stations, Rompetrol stations are designed as service centers where, in addition to selling the best quality products, customers can relax in the over 160 Hei restaurants within the network.

Your New Role

You will ensure the training of zonal coordinators and new dealers. You will ensure their rapid and correct integration, validating the implementation of operational and Customer Experience standards, and linking training to commercial results. You will act as a performance accelerator in the field, providing support to dealers, station managers, and teams, so that the knowledge acquired in training is reflected in measurable results. You will participate in the development of the training plan with the aim of increasing the quality of service, sales, and standards in the public stations managed by Rompetrol Downstream.

Activities That Will Help You Shine

•    Training, through one-on-one sessions, new coordinators and dealers from the CODO network, ensuring the transfer of operational and procedural know-how and their training in managing and coordinating the team;
•    Supporting the execution of training programs and providing support/coaching at the management level within the gas stations to improve performance;
•    Advising dealers on employee motivation and coordination practices to maintain Customer Experience standards;
•    Facilitating the exchange of best practices among dealers through workshops or sharing sessions;
•    Monitoring the adherence to the induction/onboarding plan in the visited stations and reporting deviations from the standard;
•    Evaluating and reporting the performance of station personnel, with an emphasis on the application of critical procedures and the integration of new employees;
•    Supporting dealers/station managers in breaking down commercial targets into daily and shift objectives, providing practical application examples;
•    Completing and transmitting standardized reports with identified barriers and proposed solutions, including correlations between training and commercial figures.

The Fuel Needed to Move Forward With Us

•    Completed university studies;
•    Minimum 3 years of experience in retail/operational team coordination (station manager, store manager, sales coordinator, operational trainer) or similar roles;
•    Practical experience in coaching and developing people in the field;
•    Experience in using operational IT systems or e-learning platforms;
•    Good knowledge of People Management and team motivation;
•    Knowledge of specific retail operations: station flow, cash register, pump, gastro;
•    Knowledge of Customer Experience and commercial behaviors;
•    Knowledge of coaching, motivation, and team development;
•    Knowledge regarding the correlation of procedure application with commercial results;
•    Knowledge of using digital training and monitoring tools (online platforms, reports, applications);
•    Excellent communication and relationship-building skills;
•    Very good organizational skills and results orientation;
•    PC usage skills: MS Office;
•    English language – intermediate level;
•    Valid Category B driver's license;
•    Availability for travel – minimum 80% of working time.
