Regional Controller LATAM


Multinational company in expansion seeks to fill the position of Regional Controller LATAM, responsible for leading the accounting and financial function of the region, ensuring timely, accurate financial information aligned with corporate standards. The position reports to global corporate level and provides direct financial support to regional management in the execution of LATAM's growth strategy.


Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the regional accounting and financial function for LATAM.
  • Coordinate the regional financial closing and delivery of results (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital).
  • Ensure corporate governance, internal controls, and local compliance in the countries of the region.
  • Manage and provide technical support to local accounting teams.
  • Participate in regional strategic projects (SAP, acquisitions, integrations, change processes).
  • Coordinate regional audits according to the corporate calendar.
  • Analyze financial performance and operational efficiency, proposing and implementing improvements.
  • Build credibility with internal stakeholders as a strategic financial partner for the region.


Required Profile

  • 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or financial control.
  • 3 to 5 years in financial leadership roles (Controller, Regional Controller, or equivalent).
  • Experience managing multi-country or multi-entity operations.
  • Experience in financial reporting, accounting closings, budget, forecast, FP&A, cash flow, and working capital.
  • Advanced English (indispensable); Portuguese desirable.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Desirable: CPA or equivalent certification; MBA or Master's degree in Finance/Accounting.
  • Desirable: experience in multinationals, professional services, insurance, or risk management.


Technical Knowledge

IFRS/GAAP, internal control and corporate governance, FP&A, financial ERP (SAP desirable), advanced Excel (Power BI desirable).
