About the Opportunity We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our Asset & Facilities Maintenance team at our Coppabella Village located approximately two hours inland from Mackay, QLD. The main responsibilities of this role include carrying out the reactive, planned and preventative maintenance in Civeo Villages in a professional, technically sound, safe and timely manner. Full-time, Permanent Positions available, consisting of 7-7 roster. About the Bowen Basin: The Bowen Basin is a major coal-producing region located in central Queensland, Australia. It is one of the largest coal-producing regions in the country. Our Coppabella Village is situated approximately two hours inland from Mackay, QLD. The village provides accommodation and amenities for our employees working on-site. About the Role: As Refrigeration Technician you will be responsible for carrying out reactive, planned and preventative maintenance tasks in Civeo Villages. This includes but not limited to: - Conducting routine inspections of refrigeration systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently; - Identifying and rectifying faults or malfunctions in refrigeration systems; - Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating and replacing parts as required; - Collaborating with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives. About the Team: Our Asset & Facilities Maintenance team is responsible for ensuring that our Civeo Villages are well-maintained and safe for our employees. What You'll Need: To be successful in this role you will need to have the following skills and experience: - 3+ years' experience as Refrigeration Technician; - Strong understanding of refrigeration systems and their operation; - Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces; - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently; - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. What We Offer: In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary package, including: - Salary range $60,000 - $80,000 per annum; - 25 days' annual leave (pro rata); - 10% superannuation contribution; - Ongoing training and development opportunities.
