The RPTU is a research-oriented university with a strong focus on interdisciplinary cooperation and internationalization. The Department of Higher Education Development is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies for the further development of the university. As part of this, we are looking for a Referent/Referentin Research Data Management (m/w/d) to support us in the management of research data. Your tasks will include: • Developing and implementing concepts for the management of research data • Coordinating and supporting researchers in the preparation and submission of research proposals and reports • Maintaining and updating databases and documentation systems • Providing training and support for researchers on research data management and open science principles • Collaborating with other departments and institutions to develop and implement strategies for the further development of the university. The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, information science, library science) and several years of experience in research data management or a related field. You should be familiar with current trends and developments in research data management and open science principles. In addition to your academic background and professional experience, you should also have excellent communication and organizational skills. The position is part-time (50%) and will be filled until 31.12.2028. The starting date will be at the earliest possible time. The location of the position is Kaiserslautern or Landau.
