Business Angels Deutschland e.V. (BAND)

is since 1998 the umbrella organization of business angels and their networks in Germany. As aggregator and think tank of the nationwide business angel ecosystem, we advocate for successful entrepreneurship and the strengthening of early-stage startup financing. We make the overall economic significance of startups and private early-stage investments visible and represent the ecosystem actively towards politics and the public. Based on our practical experience as investors and networkers, we identify optimization potential in the startup ecosystem and contribute to further professionalization of early-stage financing in Germany.

For our political communication and the content-based accompaniment of the ecosystem, we are looking for a part-time employee for at least 20 hours per week at the Berlin/Remote-Hybrid location.

Aufgaben

Politische Interessenvertretung: Active participation in political lobbying for (startup-) financing issues, including the creation of position papers and argumentation aids.

Inhaltliche Positionierung: Preparation of political statements and well-founded texts to represent BAND's interests towards lawmakers and relevant actors.

Kommunikation & Medien: Support in editorial management of digital channels (website, social media) and creation of targeted communication materials.

Event-Unterstützung: Participation in the conception and implementation of own event formats, particularly in a political context (e.g. parliamentary evenings).

Wissensmanagement: Preparation of information for management and the board as well as monitoring relevant economic and financial policy developments.

Qualifikation

Sie verfügen über ein abgeschlossenes Masterstudium der Politik-, Wirtschafts-, Kommunikationswissenschaften oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.

Sie bringen mindestens 2–3 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der politischen Lobbyarbeit oder in der politischen Interessenvertretung mit.

Tiefes Fachwissen: Sie haben ein fundiertes Verständnis für politische und ökonomische Prozesse, insbesondere im Kontext von Startup-Finanzierung, Wagniskapital und Business Angels.

Ökosystem-Kenntnis: Sie kennen das Startup- und Angel-Ökosystem in Deutschland gut bis sehr gut und sind idealerweise bereits vernetzt.

Sie zeichnen sich durch folgende Fähigkeiten aus:

• Kommunikationssicherheit: Exzellente schriftliche und mündliche Ausdrucksfähigkeit (Deutsch auf C2-Niveau) und sicheres Auftreten in der politischen Kommunikation.
• Textkompetenz: Nachgewiesene Fähigkeit, komplexe Sachverhalte prägnant und zielgruppengerecht aufzubereiten.
• Netzwerk & Kontakte: Sie sind gut vernetzt und möchten diese Vernetzung in dieser Rolle weiter ausbauen.
• Persönliche Stärken: Hohe Eigeninitiative, Selbstständigkeit, Organisationsgeschick und Belastbarkeit.
