As Referent:in Öffentlichkeitsarbeit (part-time 25 hours a week) at the Humanist Association, you can expect a fascinating and diverse activity in a dynamic and social organization that has committed itself to promoting humanistic values. With around 340 engaged employees, the HV and HSW offer a broad range of services and facilities, including 20 daycare centers, two student homes, and a therapeutic youth group.

Your role will be to shape and further develop the external representation of the association, effectively communicating its mission and offers. You will be part of a team that works closely with various social actors to accompany people through events, celebrations, and educational offerings. Through close cooperation with our subsidiary, the Humanist Social Work Association in Bavaria GmbH (HSW), you will contribute to science communication and education work, including projects such as TurmDersinne in Nuremberg and the Disgusting Food Museum in Berlin.

Aufgaben

Your main area of responsibility:

• Research, write, edit, and publish editorial contributions for various digital and printed media (website, newsletter, flyers, brochures, annual reports, etc.)
• Care and maintenance of our social media channels (currently: Instagram, Facebook) for our diverse facilities and projects: editorial planning, regular postings, community management, possibly opening new channels

Qualifikation

You bring with you:

• A university degree in Communications, Media, PR or Marketing, or a comparable training program
• Experience in press and public relations work
• Affinity and in-depth knowledge of social media communication
• Knowledge of content management systems (Typo3, WordPress, etc.) or the willingness to quickly get started
• Independent working style and self-managed time management
• Eigeninitiative and sense of responsibility
• Creativity and enthusiasm for getting involved in new topics and projects
• Team orientation and stress tolerance even in stressful situations
• Willingness to occasionally travel on business and attend team meetings within Germany
