Reference Officer for Reporting and Regulation (m/f/d)

For our client, a renowned banking institution in the Jade-Weser region, we are looking for a Reference Officer for Reporting and Regulation (m/f/d) in permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Independent creation and monitoring of regulatory reports and submissions to national supervisory and control authorities
• Preparation, analysis, and quality assurance of relevant data sets for supervisory purposes
• Interface between risk management, credit business, and supervisory law
• Responsibility for essential reporting and submission processes, as well as for compliance with regulatory requirements (credit reporting (large credit, million credit, and AnaCredit reports, risk reporting for BaFin and Bundesbank, own funds and liquidity reports, and other reports according to CRR, KWG, and MaRisk)
• Management of various reporting procedures in the credit and risk environment
• Implementation of new legal and regulatory requirements and their integration into existing processes
• Support in internal controls, examinations, and audits, as well as accompanying external auditors
• Coordination with specialist departments such as credit management, risk control, accounting, and IT
• Participation in projects for the digitalization and optimization of reporting and submission processes
• Further development of methods, processes, and systems in the regulatory environment

Qualifications

• Successfully completed vocational training in banking, ideally supplemented by further professional training or a degree in economics
• Professional experience in banking functions related to reporting, credit processing, risk management, or overall bank management
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks in the banking environment
• Proficient in supervisory requirements, especially KWG, CRR, and ECB directives
• Proficient with numbers and strong analytical skills
• Structured, meticulous, and independent way of working
• High sense of responsibility and quality standards
• Enjoyment of interdepartmental collaboration
