When spreads change, ratings deteriorate, or limits are exceeded, more than just a system notification is needed. What is required is a well-founded risk assessment that makes connections understandable and creates a sound basis for decision-making.

For a financially strong and value-oriented credit institution, I am looking for reinforcement for the market support-side risk analysis of Depot A. The newly created position is part of a nine-person team and offers you the opportunity to actively shape and further develop existing analysis and monitoring processes.

Responsibilities

• You analyze the risks of the entire proprietary trading portfolio – including government bonds, bank bonds, and corporate bonds, as well as high-yield and emerging market positions.
• You assess issuers and investments and provide expert evaluation of changes in ratings and credit spreads.
• You comment on non-limited positions and limit breaches and derive necessary measures from them.
• You take over the intensive monitoring of critical investments.
• You independently prepare recommendations and decision proposals for the responsible committees.
• You ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for trading activities.
• You maintain existing processes and further develop the methods and workflows of risk analysis together with the team.

The final decision rests with the responsible committees – your analysis and independent recommendation form the technical basis for this.

Qualifications

• You have completed banking training, a degree in economics, or a comparable qualification.
• Ideally, you already have experience in Depot A risk analysis.
• Your background in Treasury, bank management, risk controlling, or securities or credit analysis may also be of interest.
• You are familiar with ratings, spreads, limits, and regulatory requirements in proprietary trading.
• Proficiency in EGon is an advantage, but not a mandatory requirement.
• You work analytically, meticulously, and independently, and can present complex issues clearly and comprehensibly.
• Honesty, commitment, flexibility, and teamwork are not just buzzwords for you, but part of your daily collaboration.
