The Role

We are looking for a proactive and organised Recruitment Coordinator to lead our end-to-end hiring process. You will be the face of Mumby’s for all new applicants, ensuring a seamless, positive journey from the first click on an advert to the first day on the job.

Your goal is to support our organizational growth by identifying top-tier talent and ensuring all hires meet the high standards of compliance required by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Recruitment: Draft and post engaging job advertisements, shortlist applications, and manage the full candidate pipeline.
  • Interviewing & Selection: Schedule and conduct interviews, working closely with Care Management and the Head of Training to forecast hiring needs.
  • Compliance & Onboarding: Conduct essential pre-employment checks, including DBS, Right to Work, and reference checks. Ensure 100% CQC compliance.
  • Administration: Create and maintain accurate digital and physical personal files. Issue contracts, offer letters, and manage the probational review process.
  • Candidate Support: Provide front-line advice via email, phone, and MS Teams, acting as a helpful point of contact for all applicants.
  • Staff Development: Assist with the creation of carer profiles (both employed and self-employed) and conduct staff appraisals.

What We Are Looking For

  • Interpersonal Excellence: You can build relationships easily and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of people.
  • Experience: Proven experience in hiring, interviewing, and managing recruitment processes.
  • Compliance Mindset: Familiarity with recruitment compliance is essential; experience within the healthcare or caregiving industry is desirable, not mandatory.
  • Communication Skills: You have a professional and warm tone in both written and verbal communication.
  • Organisational Skills: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize multiple tasks without losing attention to detail.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Teams and general administrative systems.
