Recruiting Lead - Operations Center Expansion (m/f/d)

Our client is an established company in the field of freight and logistics solutions, optimizing processes related to goods transport and distribution.

You are building something from scratch – not just a job, but an entire structure.

This is not about stepping into an existing system and processing tasks. You are involved from the very first minute when new operations centers are being established. You design the recruiting process as it should actually work – without dusty old burdens, without the "we've always done it this way" mentality.

Your recruiting has a visible and tangible result.

Responsibilities

• From the conception to the operational start of new operations centers, you will lead the entire recruiting process.
• You will have end-to-end responsibility for the acquisition of skilled and managerial staff.
• You will build and lead a recruiter team consisting of permanent employees and freelancers.
• In close coordination with project management, you will conduct needs analyses and create the corresponding job descriptions.
• You will develop and implement active sourcing strategies, ensuring candidate management even with high volume.
• You will ensure a coordinated balance of expectations between business requirements and available personnel capacity.
• Regular visits to project sites are part of your responsibilities, as is the coordination of on-site activities.
• You will be in close communication with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers.

Qualifications

• You bring several years of experience in recruiting, ideally complemented by an industry or operations background.
• Independence, proactivity, and entrepreneurial thinking characterize you.
• Willingness to travel and flexibility in working hours are part of your profile.
• You also possess strong communication skills and experience in stakeholder management.
• You are proficient and comfortable using recruiting tools and Microsoft Excel.
• You speak very good German and English.
• Reliability, a strong ownership mentality, and assertiveness round off your profile.
