Recruiter – Skilled Construction Workforce & Related Industries

Job Description Role Objective: Lead end-to-end recruitment and selection processes for skilled construction workers (masons, welders, electricians, plumbers, heavy machinery operators, etc.), with the ability to identify and attract talent for both domestic projects in Mexico and international mobility programs (e.g., Canada). Secondarily, this role may extend to other industries with strong demand for skilled workers, such as healthcare (nurses), agriculture, hospitality, and services. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to meet business needs, leveraging internal and external sources. • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop job descriptions. • Source and attract top talent through various channels, including social media, job boards, employee referrals, and professional networks. • Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit. • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers for final selection decisions. • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding recruitment and hiring practices. • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, including source tracking and candidate flow. • Provide regular reports on recruitment metrics and trends to stakeholders. • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting the construction workforce and related industries.
