We are smartmicro, the leading specialist in high-performance automotive and traffic radar as well as radar/camera hybrid sensor technology. We design, develop, and manufacture high-tech sensors for autonomous driving, intelligent transportation infrastructure, and Smart Cities. Our mission is to make roads safer, enable autonomous driving at any weather, optimize traffic flow to shorten travel times, and create environmentally friendly, intelligent cities.

We are a German company with international presence and our own teams in the UK and USA, while our headquarters for design, development, and production is located in Braunschweig.

As parental leave cover, we are looking for an experienced Recruiter/HR Manager for a period of 1.5 years.

Your Tasks

• As part of the HR team, you will be responsible for the entire candidate management/recruiting process internationally
• This includes creating and posting job ads, screening candidates, and planning & conducting interviews (online/in-person)
• You will be in constant coordination with department heads and group leaders as well as the CEO
• You will also support operational business (HR administration) and handling employee inquiries
• You will develop targeted recruiting measures for our social media channels with enthusiasm

Your Strengths

• Degree in Human Resources Management/Business Administration or comparable training
• Experience in recruitment as well as application processes, preferably also in the field of Employer Branding
• You bring good MS Office skills with you
• If possible, you bring knowledge of HR software Personio with you
• You convince through excellent communication and organizational skills
• In addition to very good German language skills, secure English language skills are important
