We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Reconciliation Executive to manage and reconcile all financial and operational transactions related to our Amazon business. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central / Vendor Central and strong knowledge of Amazon’s payment cycles, fees, chargebacks, returns, and inventory reconciliation.

This role ensures complete accuracy of financial reporting, identifies revenue leakages, and drives operational efficiency by coordinating with internal teams and Amazon support channels.

Key Duties:

Financial Reconciliation

  • Reconcile Amazon payments, settlements, and statements against internal records.
  • Review Amazon Seller Central settlements to verify order-level accuracy.
  • Validate deductions, fees (FBA, referral, storage, shipping, returns), and ensure proper accounting classification.
  • Identify discrepancies related to payments, chargebacks, refunds, and reimbursements.

Inventory & Operations Reconciliation

  • Monitor FBA inventory, lost/damaged reports, and request Amazon reimbursements when applicable.
  • Reconcile inbound shipments, track shortages, and resolve discrepancies with the warehouse and Amazon.
  • Review returns data to ensure refunds and product dispositions are correctly recorded.

Issue Resolution & Compliance

  • Raise cases with Amazon support for payment, fee, and inventory-related discrepancies.
  • Track open cases and follow up for closure within defined SLAs.
  • Maintain compliance with Amazon operational and financial guidelines.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare weekly/monthly reconciliation reports highlighting gaps, financial impact, and recovery actions.
  • Provide insights on trends in fees, chargebacks, and losses to management.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams for month-end closures.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in Amazon Seller Central reconciliation.
  • Good understanding of Amazon fee structures, settlement cycles, and FBA processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables) or Google Sheets.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce reconciliation, preferably with Amazon.
  • Experience working with FBA, FBM, and marketplace accounting processes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems, or reconciliation tools is beneficial.
