Data Center Technician m/f/d

The main function of this role as a Data Center Technician is to install and maintain the infrastructure in data centers to ensure that all systems operate efficiently and reliably. The goal is to ensure smooth network and data communication. Tasks: * Installation of passive cabling components (e.g., panels, patch racks, etc.) * Execution and documentation of patch and infrastructure cabling in the data center * Basic inspection of cabling * Installation and modification of active components according to customer instructions Important Requirements: * Successfully completed technical vocational training or 3 years of experience in a similar field of work * Knowledge in the area of passive fiber optic and copper data cabling * Experience in cable installation and cable assembly * Ideally, knowledge of handling measuring instruments and measurement methods in the area of passive data cabling * Initiative, independent, flexible working style, teamwork, and organizational skills * Good German and English language skills * Possession of a valid driver's license and a police clearance certificate without entries Nice to have: * Knowledge of special requirements in data centers * Experience with specific tools for cable assembly
