Receptionist - NH Milano Corso Buenos Aires - Minor Hotels - Southern Europe

Hosco What will be your mission? As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for satisfying the needs of guests upon arrival and departure and providing an exceptional experience during their stay, in line with the hotel's vision and values regarding customer satisfaction. What will you do? - Welcome and complete the check-in process for all guests and groups arriving on time and professionally, as well as complete the check-out process for guests and groups departing. - Manage room assignments based on guest characteristics (VIP, regulars, new customers, etc.) with the corresponding department. - Manage, if necessary, and ensure that the front office and management are fully informed about requests, questions, complaints, and/or suggestions from guests and other departments. - Know all hotel products and services, rates, promotions, and package discounts available, as well as VIP and special events. - Know and communicate hotel services available (laundry, restaurant reservations) and general safety information. - Maximize room occupancy at the best rates (this includes closing sales and extranet, if necessary). - Use up-selling techniques (promote loyalty program, other destinations, food and beverages, transportation, and hotel facilities). - Manage room bookings for arriving guests. - Provide information to guests about the structure and surrounding area (museums, monuments), including special events, attractions, restaurants, activities, etc. of the city. - Respond to guest requests for agreements or special services (e.g., transportation, reservations, laundry) by taking action or identifying appropriate providers. - Respect brand standards. - Assist other departments if necessary. What are we looking for? - Previous experience in the Front Office department, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity. - Degree or diploma in hospitality management or equivalent. - Fluency in the local language is required, as well as a high level of English. - Knowledge of other foreign languages is considered a plus. - Familiarity with various software programs (Microsoft Office, TMS, etc.) and Front Office systems. - Customer service orientation. - Flexibility in responding to a variety of work situations. - Strong communication skills. - Sales orientation. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
