What will you do?

As a reachtruck chauffeur, you are an essential link within the logistics process. You work in a cooled and deep-frozen storage environment and ensure that goods are efficiently and safely placed at the right location. You sit on a reachtruck with a heated cabin, allowing you to work comfortably despite the low temperatures around you.

Every day, you are busy storing and retrieving pallets in high-rise storage locations up to a height of 9.5 meters. You not only operate the reachtruck, but sometimes also use a forklift and an electric pallet truck (EPT). You carefully register all movements and changes in storage locations using a handheld scanner. This way, the inventory is always up-to-date and organized.

You will be working in an environment where hygiene and safety are of great importance, especially considering the type of goods you are working with. It is expected of you that you work accurately and neatly. The working hours are between 06:00 and 18:00 hours, and you work approximately 8 to 9 hours per day. How late you are ready depends on the moment when deliveries arrive. One day you are early, the other day you work a bit longer. This variation asks for flexibility, but also creates dynamics in your workday.

• You have experience in logistics, preferably with cooled or frozen goods;
• You possess a valid reachtruck certificate;
• You have a practical and flexible mindset;
• You speak and understand the Dutch language well;
• You have no problem working in a cold environment;
• You can work independently and in a team;
• You live in the vicinity of Epe;
• You have a preference for own transportation.
