R&D Specialist - Plastics Compounds

Resina Partners is supporting an Italian plastics compounder in the search for an experienced R&D Specialist to join during a key phase of transformation and growth. The company: A solid, family-owned business specialized in plastics compounds . The role: Reporting to senior management, you will support the R&D function in daily laboratory activities, product development, and technical improvement projects. You will contribute to formulation development , testing , troubleshooting , and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners. Your tasks will include: Developing new products and formulations; Conducting experiments and tests; Analyzing data and results; Troubleshooting and resolving issues; Collaborating with cross-functional teams; Providing technical support to production and sales departments. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in chemistry, materials science or a related field, with experience in plastics compounds development and testing.
