R&D Manager - IoT & Smart Home

— Solid experience in managing complex technical projects and leading multidisciplinary R&D or engineering teams;
— Strong technical background in IoT, embedded systems, microcontrollers, and communication protocols (networking, servers, cloud);
— End-to-end understanding of the electronic product development and industrialization process;
— Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical information for diverse stakeholders;
— Analytical thinking and a structured, problem-solving mindset;
— Fluent English (written and spoken) — required for international collaboration;
— Engineering degree (Electronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar);
— Experience managing external supplier relationships is a strong plus.

What You'll Do:

— Lead and coordinate the R&D team strategically and operationally, ensuring timely delivery of IoT and Smart Home projects;
— Act as the main interface between the R&D department, clients, and strategic partners, taking over the operational load from the technical team;
— Manage the full product lifecycle, from concept and simulation to prototype validation and Go to Mass Production readiness;
— Translate business needs and customer requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications;
— Coordinate technical implementations (such as AMR projects) and track deliverables, adapting solutions to fit specific client needs;
— Ensure seamless technology transfer to the assembly, programming, and production departments;
— Collaborate closely with Product Management, Sales, and Production to align technical capabilities with market demands;
— Drive effective project governance, including milestone tracking, reporting, and structured decision-making.
