R&D Engineer - spray coating

You are responsible for developing innovative products and processes to meet customer needs. You actively research new materials and process technologies in collaboration with internal and external partners (suppliers, research institutions, and universities).

A glimpse of your task package:

• You take the lead on R&D projects where new raw materials and/or spray coating techniques are central;
• You set up test plans to conduct research into new materials for specific product applications;
• You coordinate the production of new matrices in collaboration with suppliers;
• You analyze test results and propose potential improving follow-up steps;
• You ensure and document the knowledge you build up in a methodical manner;
• You work closely together with product developers, operators, and external partners;
• You monitor the quality of newly developed products;
• You keep yourself up-to-date regarding state-of-the-art developments in spray coating (raw materials, techniques, equipment);
• You report on your progress to the R&D Manager.
