Job description

Your career in developing innovative laboratory diagnostics.

In this position, you will work on the development of modern immunoassays for diagnostic applications in the pharmaceutical field. You will plan and conduct laboratory experiments, analyze experimental data, and actively contribute to the further development of high-performance diagnostic test systems.

Tasks

  • Assay Development: Participation in the development of heterogeneous immunoassays as well as the further development of corresponding analysis systems in the laboratory.
  • Experiment Planning and Execution: Planning and execution of challenging experiments using immunological, molecular biological, and protein biochemical methods.
  • Data Analysis: Independent evaluation of experimental results including statistical analysis and graphical and written representation.
  • Laboratory Analytics: Conducting routine analyses and series tests (stability tests, correctness tests or recipe optimizations) as well as the preparation of solutions.
  • Method Adaptation: Adapting and optimizing analytical methods for different analysis systems and device platforms.
  • Documented: Careful documentation of all experimental results in protocols, reports, and presentations according to quality management guidelines.
  • Teamwork: Coordination with interdisciplinary development teams and presentation of results in project meetings.

Qualification

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree or technician in the field of biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry or comparable fields.
  • Familiarity: Knowledge in the field of immunology as well as practical experience in the laboratory environment.
  • Labor Practice: Experience with experimental laboratory procedures and analytical methods.
  • Work Style: Independent, structured, and meticulous working style when planning and conducting experiments.
  • Communication: Very good German language skills as well as good English language skills for cooperation in the international development environment.
