About the position

We are looking for a recently graduated Laboratory Technician to support the activities of our Research and Development team. Your role will be to contribute to sample preparation, test execution, and recording of paint and coating results, following established procedures and under the supervision of the technical team.

This position is ideal for someone seeking their first work experience and who is interested in developing in an industrial laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Support in the preparation, identification, and organization of paint, coating, and raw material samples.

• Execute laboratory tests, such as viscosity, adhesion, thickness, hardness, and chemical resistance, in accordance with established procedures and with supervision.

• Record test results clearly and orderly, ensuring information traceability.

• Report deviations or anomalies observed during tests to the laboratory manager.

• Support in the cleaning, verification, and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment and materials.

• Collaborate in the updating of records and technical documentation.

• Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area, following 5S practices and safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.

• Safeguard the confidentiality of formulations and technical information.

Requirements

• Completed technical degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Laboratory, or a related area.

• No prior work experience required; internships, social service, or school projects related to laboratory work will be valued.

• Basic knowledge of handling laboratory materials and equipment.

• Basic knowledge of safety and handling of chemical substances.

• Basic proficiency in Excel and Office tools for information recording.

• Interest in learning about paints, coatings, and physicochemical tests.
