Mō te tūranga | About the roleYou will manage and maintain numerous visitor sites in the Catlins area, providing important technical knowledge, support and direction to the field team. The position will be focussed on:
* maintaining huts, bridges, and other structures
* maintenance work on our historic sites
* track clearing and maintenance in the back and front country
* leading team safety briefings and taking responsibility for your safety and the safety of your team mates every day
While this position is mostly field-based you will also be required to complete office-based tasks with planning and organising of projects. Click here for the Role Description

* experience maintaining visitor facilities, tracks and structures
* practical skillset with carpentry or construction experience
* good planning and organisational skills
* tech-savvy skills and experience using apps and computer-based systems
* a strong health and safety focus
* strong interpersonal and communication skills
* a valid driver's licence
* a current First Aid certificate.
